Melissa Fryrear
Melissa serves as the Gender Issues Analyst within the Government and Public Policy Division for Focus on the Family. She is actively involved in public speaking, writing and educating the Church and society on a wide range of subjects related to homosexuality. Much of the insight Melissa offers concerning homosexuality comes from her own experience having lived homosexually for a decade, as well as having counseled thousands of individuals and families affected by same-sex attraction.

Mike Haley
As one of the nation’s leading speakers on gender issues, Mike Haley has captivated and inspired thousands with his testimony of how he walked away from homosexuality. His insights come not only from his experiences as a gay teen and young adult, but also from the many years he has counseled men and women struggling with same-sex attractions and their loved ones, who struggle in their own way when a family member or friend “comes out.” As director of the Gender Issues department of Focus on the Family, Haley oversees and speaks at the ministry’s Love Won Out conferences, which offers information and hope to families affected by homosexuality.

Chad Thompson
A noted author and speaker at the age of 25, Chad has gained the respect of many college and high school students across the country through his  message of  unconditional love and hope for those who struggle with same gender attractions.  Chad is the author of “Loving Homosexuals as Jesus Would” and the founder of Inqueery  Ministry.  He is a popular speaker at many conferences, colleges and churches.

Kirk Talley
Kirk started singing gospel music professionally after graduating high school.  In 1982 Kirk and his brother Rodger formed the group The Talleys along with Roger’s wife Debra.  The Talleys quickly became one of Gospel music’s most popular groups to date.   In 2003 Kirk’s secret struggles with same sex attractions suddenly came public when a fan attempted to extort money from him for silence.  With help of the FBI the extortionist was arrested and convicted, but Kirk’s secret struggles were now front page news.  In addition to sharing the gospel message in song, Kirk now shares a personal message about how God lifted Kirk out of a horrible depression and gave him the desire to live when he wanted to committ suicide.
